Why your link-in-bio matters more than ever

With social media platforms limiting outbound links, your link-in-bio page has become the most important piece of real estate you own online. Here's how to make it count.

Step 1: Choose the right template

Your template sets the tone for everything. Ask yourself: what feeling do I want visitors to have when they land on my page?

  • Minimal templates work best for photographers, writers, and professionals
  • Dark templates suit musicians, gamers, and tech creators
  • Neon/gradient templates are perfect for lifestyle and fashion creators
  • Professional templates are ideal for coaches, consultants, and B2B creators
  • Step 2: Write a compelling bio

You have 2-3 seconds to tell visitors who you are and why they should care. Keep it to one sentence that answers: who are you, who do you help, and what's the outcome?

Bad: "Content creator | Blogger | Mom of 3 🌸"

Good: "I help busy moms build online businesses in 2 hours a day."

Step 3: Order your links strategically

Put your most important link first. Always. Then order the rest by priority, not chronology.

Step 4: Write better link titles

"YouTube" gets fewer clicks than "Watch my latest video →"

"Shop" gets fewer clicks than "Get 20% off this week only"

Action-oriented titles with urgency or specificity always outperform generic labels.

    Step 5: Set up analytics

You can't improve what you don't measure. Enable analytics and check it weekly. Look for:

  • Which links get the most clicks
  • What time of day your traffic peaks
  • Where your visitors are coming from
  • Step 6: Keep it updated

A stale page is a dead page. Set a weekly reminder to review and update your Orivan page.
