How to use Audience Rules

Audience Rules
5 min read
Summary: Show or hide links based on visitor device, country, language, or time of day.

Audience Rules

Audience Rules is a Pro feature. It lets you personalize your page for different visitors without creating multiple pages.

Enabling Audience Rules

1
Go to Dashboard → Audience Rules
2
Toggle the master "Audience Rules" switch to on
3
Click "Add rule" to create your first rule

How rules work

Each rule has two parts:

Condition — who the rule applies to (IF visitor matches…)
Action — what happens for those visitors (THEN…)

Rules are evaluated top to bottom. The first matching rule wins.

Condition types

Device Type — match mobile, desktop, or tablet visitors
Country — match by 2-letter country code (US, GB, DE, FR…). Detected from IP address.
Browser Language — match by language prefix (en, es, fr, de…)
Time Range — match visitors between two times in UTC format (e.g. 09:00-17:00)
Day of Week — match specific days (Mon, Tue, Wed…)

Action types

Show specific links — only show the links you select to matching visitors
Hide specific links — hide the links you select from matching visitors
Redirect to URL — send matching visitors to a completely different URL

1
Click "Add rule"
2
Give the rule a name (e.g. "Mobile visitors — hide desktop links")
3
Select a condition type and set its value
4
Select an action type
5
If showing or hiding links, check the links you want to affect
6
