How the conversion funnel works

Summary: Track the full journey from page visit to Primary CTA click.

Conversion Funnel

The conversion funnel is a Pro feature that shows you exactly where visitors drop off on your page.

The three funnel stages

1
Visited your page — everyone who loaded your profile URL
2
Clicked any link — visitors who clicked at least one link
3
Clicked your Primary CTA — visitors who clicked the specific link you marked as your Primary CTA

Why this matters

Most bio page tools only show total clicks. The funnel shows you conversion quality:

If 1,000 people visit but only 10 click your CTA, your conversion rate is 1%
Industry average is 3–8%
Above 10% is excellent

Setting up your Primary CTA

The funnel only tracks CTA clicks if you have a Primary CTA set.

1
Go to Dashboard (main page)
2
Hover over the link you want to track as your main goal
3
Click the target icon (crosshair) that appears
4
The link is now marked as Primary CTA — it shows a teal left border

Only one link can be the Primary CTA at a time. Changing it does not affect historical data.

Reading the funnel

Each bar shows the count and the conversion percentage from the top of the funnel. For example:

Visited: 1,000 (100%)
Clicked any link: 350 (35%)
Clicked Primary CTA: 47 (4.7%)

Improving your conversion rate

Move your Primary CTA link to the top of your list
Use action-oriented copy ("Book a free call" not "Calendly")
Add a short description to your CTA link
Test different copy with A/B Testing (Pro)
